Jeff Murl, Owner
Jeff moved from his home town of Scarborough, Ontario after high school, and paid his way through a BComm at UBC. His first foray into food and beverage was making bagels at his parents bagel franchise, then bussing tables at the Salmon House in West Vancouver. After throwing around the idea of a restaurant with friend Paul Mon-Kau, the two put it all on the line and opened The District Brasserie in 2007. Along the way Jeff continues to teach skiing in Whistler, and has recently achieved his CPA, CGA designation.
